The most common causes of existing resin flooring failure are thermal shock and water vapor pressure. If preventative measures were not taken during the initial installation, it may become necessary to replace or resurface your existing floor.
With a Guardian floor, you can rest assured that it won't happen again. Because we stand behind the durability and endurance of all our products, we begin by checking for water vapor in advance. Thermal shock is prevented with our #1050 hi-temperature resin coupled with special primers and fiber reinforcement.

Guardian is a licensed installer of the Koester VAP1 primer & topcoat systems which can be used under epoxy systems, tile or carpet. We work with many New England tile and carpet companies.
Guardian uses only the most modern, dust-free mechanical preparation techniques, including shotblasting, diamond grinding and scarification using the most powerful, dependable equipment. We also use microbial bioremediation chemicals to safely remove oil from dirty concrete floors.
Guardian realizes that unsafe floor conditions can lead to accidents. Employees may be injured, time may be lost and products are damaged. That's why our epoxy-based flooring materials (such as Polygard 105 epoxy mortar and Polymatrix 1250 flooring) are installed to smooth transitions, add slip resistance to walkways and improve surfaces for safe operations.
Thin coatings, chemical resistant coatings and built-up floors are just a few of our specialties! We also have systems for heavy traffic in main aisles and chemical resistant coatings for pits, trenches and containment areas.
